I was often asked, where the name Ls-Software come from. In the early days I only built Apps for Windows within the .net-Framework, so I decided to give it the suffix .net.
But what’s about Ls-Software?
It’s easy, my second surname is Lee so I want a website with my name in it, but Lee-Soft was already taken and my hoster suggested me Ls-Software, as like Lees Software and I took.
In later days after Windows to Mac switch I found out that “ls” is a common UNIX-Command for listing files and folders within the shell. Great. So it’s both, my Name in it and an OS specific Command.
That’s it – Ls-Software.net.
